Capcom showcased about thirty minutes of gameplay of its upcoming remake of the old and glorious survival horror Resident Evil 2.

The game was played on PS4, and the neat thing is that this time we get to see a lot more meat than in previous showings of the demo with a lot more attention to details.

In the video, you can see Claire in action as she has to fight against a monster with a giant eye-like tumor on its shoulder. As I did before when reporting about this specific demo, I will refrain from spoiling its former identity, just in case you have not played the original game. I’m sure there are many who will want to play this fresh, without knowing the story.

Incidentally, this enemy isn’t exactly easy to kill, especially if you don’t know exactly what to do and you start spraying and praying.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more about Resident Evil 2you can enjoy the latest trailer and screenshots featuring Ada Wong and more, the previous gameplay the announcement trailer, and some more recent screenshots. You can also read our hands-on preview.

Resident Evil 2 will launch on January 25th, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can already pre-order the game and the Deluxe Edition on Amazon.
