Legendary Pokémon Reshiram & Zekrom Coming to Pokémon Ultra Sun/Moon

3DS, News, Originals, Pokemon, Pokemon Black, Pokemon Ultra Moon, Pokemon Ultra Sun, Pokemon White, Reshiram, Zekrom

Legendary Pokémon Reshiram & Zekrom will be coming to Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon  Ultra Moon (as well as the non-Ultra versions) later this month via distribution through Target.

Those who want to add Reshiram & Zekrom to their collection will have to bring their copy of the aforementioned games to Target and connect to the internet in order to enter the code in the “mystery gift” option from the main menu. You can then pick up your Pokémon via the Pokémon Center’s delivery person who will wait for you near the counter.

Those who own Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Sun will receive Zekrom and those who own Pokémon Ultra Moon or Pokémon Moon will receive Reshiram. Their move list and level differs based on the version of the game you have, and are detailed in the image below:

Reshiram & Zekrom first appeared in Pokémon Black and Pokémon White and represented the theme of those games which was that of opposites. Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt were two unique moves that only these two legendary Pokémon could pull off, and interacted with each other by boosting the moves power if they are used in succession. The abilities of Teravolt and Turboblaze allow Reshiram & Zekrom to ignore other Pokémon abilities when attacking. This means a Pokémon with the ability of levitate can still be damaged by ground-based moves.

You can watch both legendary Pokémon in action below as well as some comments about them from Shigeki Morimoto, Pokémon Battle Director, Kazumasa Iwao, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Game Director, and Shigeru Ohmori, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Producer, in the video below.
