Dontnod Shows Process of Creating Life is Strange 2 in New Video

Dontnod Entertainment, life is strange 2, News, Originals, PC, PS4, Square-Enix, Xbox One

Following the reveal of Life is Strange 2, there was a lot of talk in the community about why Dontnod Entertainment opted to go in an entirely new direction with a new story rather than returning to the beloved characters from the first game, Max and Chloe.

Well, now Dontnod has released a new video that explains many of those exact reasons. This nearly ten-minute video features tons of behind-the-scenes footage from Dontnod along with the appearance of many of the devs from the studio.

The developers at Dontnod explain that to them, the story of the first Life is Strange had a definitive ending. To go back to continuing the journey of Max and Chloe would be difficult purely because of the way in which the first season ended. Personally, I’d have to agree with them and I’m excited that the Life is Strange world isn’t about specific characters but is instead about the many stories within the world.

Check out the video at the bottom of the page if you’d like. The first episode of Life is Strange 2 is scheduled to release at the end of this month on September 27 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Keep an eye out in the near future if you want to hear more of my own thoughts on the game based on what I played at PAX West.
